The Intention of My Blog

Welcome, my beloved readers!

In case you're wondering, it's not a typo up there for you see the definition of goodly is:

used as an adjective to describe something
1. of ample or good size, ex: a goodly amount.
2. of a fine appearance, ex: a goodly young man.
3. Archaic. of good quality, ex: a goodly gift.

I am a mother who home educates her children; I would be pleased if you'd look around. You never know if I might have something to your liking. I've blogged about different topics. I hope you enjoy your stay here. May God bless you with peace, a renewing of your mind, and rest as you read my posts.

Please remember to subscribe to my blog, using any variety of methods, which are below to the right, including Facebook.

Thanks to all for your patience as I have been on the mend. I had double heart bypass surgery in February of 2013, and I needed to focus on my recovery, which has been in steady progress. Thanks for your kind consideration.

Thanks for visiting!

Flat, Cheesy Omelet

Ingredients for cheesy omelet

This is one of my favorite meals to eat--a flat, cheesy omelet.  I use two eggs, salt, minced onion, and black pepper.  Cheese and butter is used later.

Healthy-for-you butter in the pan

The butter is used like oil.  I use unsalted Fleischmann's butter.

2 eggs, minced onion, pepper, and salt in a bowl, ready to be whisked.

Put these ingredients in a bowl.  Whisk the ingredients together vigorously.  You give the concoction enough air to turn the omelet fluffy.

Eggs poured into pan

Make sure the heat is on low so that your eggs do not burn.

Cheese on the eggs

Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly on the eggs.  Remove from fire when cheese is melted.

7 Grain bread on the side

Toast is ideal for a cheesy omelet.  You can choose a healthy bread for toast.  I chose this 7 grain bread.

End result--flat, cheesy omelet with toast

Well, I hope you liked my flat version of a cheese omelet.

Thanks for reading this short blog entry.  I hope you enjoyed this picture-filled entry.  I wanted to show how to make this tasty omelet.  I hope that I have done a good job.

How about you, my readers?  Have you made an omelet lately?  Why or why not?  I encourage you to add your own ingredients; you can add red bell pepper and tomatoes, too.

This has been an entry for Saturday Spreads.
