Today, I am venting with some poetry about the craziness of our politicians. I am so frustrated with the state of the economy. I am also upset at the blatant disregard for propriety from some of the politicians. Yes, it is a medical situation. I am talking about my mental stability so excuse me while I spew out some words onto this blog:
Whodunit
They don't know anything about it.
The economy
Lobotomy
Something's gotta be done quickly.
Politicians
Statisticians
Laundry aired out in nations.
Frustrations
Castrations
We are tired of protestations.
Anger
Banger
When will it get much better?
Release
The lease
I really do want it, please.
Thanks
Banks
Stop shooting them blanks.
Insults
Results
I'm tired of the cults.
Ulcers
Folgers
Am I left with them tubers?
Me
Be
I can't see.
End
Bend
What is it you depend?
God
Bod
I'm in the pod.
Matters
Hatters
We turn to batters.
Family
Finally
This I say so lastly.
Does this poem make sense to anyone but me? I don't know. I just know that I can't be the only one to see the craziness of our elected officials, scratching their heads and not doing anything about our problems. Too many of them are embarrassing. We should just gather together and vote them out of office!
How about you, my readers? Have you ever been so angry at someone or something that you needed to something about it? Have you ever tried writing poetry? Even if poetry is not your cup of tea, you should try it? I encourage you all to vent occasionally. It could help your health.

I hear you Becky!!! I can't believe what lack of integrity some of these men have. The power is in voting.. we need to always be sure to make our votes count!
ReplyDeleteAngel,
ReplyDeleteI can think of two of them, right off the bat, that I thought were players. Sure enough, they come out in the news years later, with scandal. You just get the sense that these people don't have enough on their plate. They have to heap on drama to their lives.
