I got Iris to do the smashing of the ground meat, and Gabriel, my oldest, poured the pasta sauce in a pot to warm it. Got Iris to make the toast. Gabriel made cool aid, too. It was a good tag team, and we finished so quickly, too.Rebagvhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01116739845699579524noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7872374935880304572.post-38903630693414793512011-02-08T19:37:43.212-06:002011-02-08T19:37:43.212-06:00I agree with you Rebecca it's a fun challenge ...I agree with you Rebecca it's a fun challenge to eat a meal with variety so everyone can enjoy it. I often serve somthing we all can agree on but even then everyone has their differences. Pizza is a good example...We start the dough early, since it has to rise twice for an hour and a half total...depending on the day. I make enough for three pizzas Then my oldest will help with the toppings...this is where it gets interesting. Must haves lots of cheese, pepperoni. That's the basics. It gets complicated when you get to the adults...carmelized onions, mushrooms, pepperjack cheese...for the summer...pinapples..and peppers with carmelized onions. We always have leftovers for lunch the next day, which makes it even better. I get a great kick when my husband says he'd eat my pizza over anyone elses! <br />Spagetti is a really hard one for us...my youngest daughter doesn't like the sauce the way daddy does and he likes his really sweet..Most of us concure with her...so we have to do a separate sauce...then my oldest son would rather have my meatballs...but I rarely have my ground beef early enough to let them set. So I usually don't make them either, but when I do my youngest two and I make a big deal of it. It's soo fun! They don't look perfect but they taste really good!Casa_DeArteshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04167988462227073109noreply@blogger.com
